How long is the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle?

The WSF car ferry takes approximately 60 minutes. The Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry (foot passengers only) takes approximately 30 minutes.

How much does the Bremerton ferry cost?

Walk-on passengers ride free from Bremerton to Seattle on WSF. The fare is collected westbound only (Seattle to Bremerton). Adult walk-on fare is currently $9.45. Vehicle fares vary by size. Do you need a reservation for the Bremerton ferry?

No. The Seattle-Bremerton route does not offer reservations. It is first-come, first-served for vehicles. Foot passengers can always board.

What is the difference between the Fast Ferry and the regular ferry?

The WSF car ferry carries both vehicles and passengers, takes 60 minutes, and runs throughout the day. The Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry is foot-passengers only, takes 30 minutes, runs primarily during commute hours on weekdays and Saturdays in summer, and has different fares. The WSF car ferry has a galley (cafeteria) on board with hot food, snacks, and beverages. The Fast Ferry does not have food service due to the shorter 30-minute crossing time.
